DRS Wins $13 M Logistics Support for USAF Tunner Loaders

(Parsippany, N.J., March 10, 2008) -- DRS Technologies, Inc. (NYSE: DRS) announced today that it received a contract valued at approximately $13 million from the U.S. Air Force to support Tunner 60K Cargo Loader/Transporters deployed at U.S. military bases worldwide.

The one-year contract was awarded to DRS by the Warner Robins Air Logistics Center at Robins Air Force Base in Georgia.


For this contract, DRS will provide logistics support, including field service support that keeps the product operating at a high state of readiness worldwide; sustaining engineering, which provides constant improvements to the Tunner platform; and spare parts support for the 318 Air Force Tunners stationed at more than 120 military installations around the globe.

Work for these orders will be facilitated by the company's DRS Sustainment Systems, Inc. business unit in St. Louis, Missouri.
