Herley Industries Receives a $2 M Award for Boeing CALCM Test Kit Components
(Lancaster, Pa., November 8, 2007) -- Herley Industries, Inc. (Nasdaq: HRLY) announced that Boeing has awarded its Lancaster Pennsylvania division a follow-on contract valued at approximately $2 million to provide electronic components for Boeing's Test Instrumentation Kits for its Conventional Air-Launched Cruise Missile (CALCM).CALCM is described by the Air Force as an affordable, long-range (standoff) missile that has been proven in combat by the U.S. Air Force. The test kits are used to monitor in-flight missile performance. The kits also allow for remote command-and-control and flight termination of CALCMs during operational testing, transmitting the information to the flight test control center.
