Micro Systems, Inc. Awarded a $1.4 M Contract for Electronic Hardware to the U. S. Navy
(Lancaster, Pa., September 27, 2007) -- Herley Industries, Inc. (Nasdaq: HRLY) announced today that Micro Systems, Inc. ("MSI"), a wholly owned subsidiary of Herley located in Ft. Walton Beach, Florida, has been awarded a contract for more than $1.4 million to provide electronic hardware and engineering services to the U. S. Navy for its System for Naval Target Control (SNTC) system.Wayne Armstrong, Micro Systems, Inc. General Manager, commented, "We are happy to continue our support of the U. S. Navy's SNTC system, which is the system of choice for U.S. Navy target control. This award includes engineering services as well as electronic hardware, including target control transponders for use on a variety of Navy targets. Micro Systems has been supplying electronics to the Navy for SNTC through an IDIQ Contract for more than three years, and we expect these requirements to continue for many years."
