Patria Received an Order for Life Cycle Support for the Estonian XA Vehicles

(August 29, 2007) -- Patria and the Logistics Centre of the Estonian Defence Forces have on August 28, 2007 signed a contract regarding Life Cycle Support for the XA-180EST vehicles in Estonia in 2008-2009.

The contract covers, e.g., technical support in Estonia, spare parts and special tools delivery, training and support services and technical documentation.


Patria has been operating in Estonia since December 2005. The signed contract is a continuation of the contract that expires at the end of 2007.

The Estonian Ministry of Defence purchased 60 XA-180 vehicles from the Finnish Ministry of Defence in the end of 2004 and signed a contract with Patria for modernisation of the vehicles. The contract also covered required training for Estonian personnel, technical documentation, support tools and equipment and initial spare part packages.
