Cubic on Team Selected by GSA to Compete for Government Information Technology Business

Cubic One of Five Core Members Forming Team ITS-Alliant

(San Diego, CA., August 9, 2007) -- Cubic Applications, Inc. (CAI), a division of Cubic Corporation (AMEX: CUB), announced today that it is part of a contractor team awarded a prime bidding position by the General Services Administration (GSA) for its largest Government Wide Acquisition Contract (GWAC) -- GSA Alliant. The team, dubbed Team ITS-Alliant, is headed by ITS Corporation and will have an opportunity to compete for up to $50 billion in GSA information technology business over the next five to ten years.

"While Cubic is well known for its expertise in providing services and defense systems integration in the United States and around the world, being a part of this successful team creates additional opportunities across all of Cubic's business units," said Rich McLaughlin, CAI's Director for Strategic Programs.

CAI is one of five core team members on Team ITS-Alliant, a team that also includes a robust small business team as well as leading universities. Team ITS-Alliant was among 29 contractor teams awarded prime positions on the Alliant contract, which allows central purchasing of information technology services currently provided under the ANSWER, Millennia, Millennia Lite and ITOPS contracts.
