Implant Sciences Accepts Republic of Iraq Order for Explosives Detectors

Initial Order for 8 Units of Implant's Handheld Explosives Detectors Ordered by Iraqi Ministry of Interior (WAKEFIELD, Mass., March 6, 2007) -- Implant Sciences Corporation (AMEX: IMX) a developer and manufacturer of products for national security, semiconductor and medical industries, today announced that it received an order for eight (8) units of the Company's Quantum Sniffer(TM) handheld explosives detectors from Iraq's Ministry of the Interior. It is anticipated that these eight (8) units will be used in various locations within Iraq, however, for reasons of confidentiality and security, no further details as to the use and locations of the devices is permitted.
